Foundation Board of Trustees Bios


Michael E. Love



 Michael is Chairman and CEO of Love Envelopes, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a past president and chairman of the Envelope Manufacturers Association Board of Directors,  a past president of the Envelope Institute of America (EIA), and a past member of the Foundation Board of Trustees. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including the EMA Chairman's Award, the John Nelson Award for Excellence in Postal Affairs, and the Danny Lipman EMA Member of the Year Award.

 

Stephen Lyon



 Stephen is President of Halm Industries Company, Inc. in Glen Head, New York. A graduate of Syracuse University College of Business, he served in the United States Army before joining Halm Industries, where he has worked for 42 years. He has been an active member of EMA for over 20 years, is a member of the EMA Board of Directors, and has served on numerous committees. He is actively involved in his residential village politics and administration, serving as Police Commissioner for 15 years.

 

Alfred Wilkowski



 Fred is President of Interstate Envelope Manufacturing Corp. in Maspeth, New York. He has been a member of the Envelope Manufacturers Association since 1985. He earned BBA and MBA degrees from City University of New York. He has served as a member of the EMA Board of Directors and Chairman of the Management Information, Plant Management, Finance and Membership Marketing committees.  

Cheryl Z. Chapman



 Cheryl is the Envelope Papers Product Manager for International Paper. She started with International Paper in 1984 as a process control and quality control engineer. She held a variety of positions and came into her current position in 2004. Cheryl is currently the chairman of the Foundation’s Institute for Postal Studies. In 2004 and 2005 she was named in EMA’s Top 25 Volunteers of the Year. Cheryl is active on EMA’s Postal and Public Affairs Committees.

Gilles Cyr



 Gilles is President & CEO of Supremex, Inc. in Quebec, Canada. Mr. Cyr has held various positions with Supremex for 14 years, first as Chief Financial Officer, later as Vice-President and General Manager of Supremex’s Eastern Region, up to January 2006. Prior to joining Supremex, Mr. Cyr was a partner at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he worked for ten years. Mr. Cyr holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières and is also a Chartered Accountant.

 

John Nolan



 John Nolan is a former USPS Deputy Postmaster General. John has been a business leader, board member and senior executive for over 25 years. His background spans both the government and private sectors. He is currently serving as a corporate advisor/consultant to several companies both inside and outside the mailing industry.  He is a member of the board of MailExpress, a privately held company, and is chairman of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Postal Museum Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Washington & Lee University’s Shepherd Poverty Program and co-coordinator of its Project for Public Service Employment initiative in Washington DC.  

T. Hunter Wilson



 Hunter is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Papercone Corp. He started in sales with Papercone in 1989 and was promoted to his current position in 2000. Hunter is the chairman of the Foundation’s Development Committee and is a member of EMA’s Public Affairs Committee. He is a past chairman of the EMA Membership & Marketing Committee. Hunter was named EMA Member of the Year in 2005. 

 

D. Paul Hinspeter



 Paul is the Vice President of Specialty Films for Reynolds Packaging KAMA. He has been with that company since 1995 when he was the director of specialty films. Paul has been the Associate member representative on the board of trustees since 2005. He also serves on the Foundation’s Institute for Postal Studies Oversight Committee and the Projects Committee. Paul is active in EMA as well, serving on the Technical Postal Affairs, Membership & Marketing, Strategic Long Range Planning and Education Committees.

 

 

 

Bill Berkley



 Bill is President & CEO of Tension Envelope Corp. in Kansas City, Missouri. He represents the fourth generation of the Berkley family to be CEO of the 118-year-old Tension organization, which was founded in Kansas City and now has eleven manufacturing plants and 40 sales offices throughout the United States, and four manufacturing operations overseas. Bill is active in business, civic, and community organizations.  He currently serves on the boards of directors of the following organizations: Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute, the Early Learning Board of the Mid America Regional Council, the Mayor’s Collaborative, Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Science City at Union Station.  He is currently president of the board of BE2 School-to-Career Partnership.  He is a past chair of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, Kansas City Consensus and The Learning Exchange.  He is the immediate past president of the board of Pembroke Hill School.
