T. Scott Mitchell

Scott Mitchell is the longtime partner of Harvey Mackay and CEO of the MackayMitchell Envelope Company, which manufactures 20 million envelopes per day for the direct mail and photo industry in 3 plants in Minnesota, Iowa and Oregon. Prior to joining MackayMitchell in 1993, Scott was a divisional president for the Data Base division of Moore Corporation, preceded by a sales career with IBM. Scott got his start as an English teacher in Vermont. He received a B.A. (Cum Laude) from Dartmouth College in 1971 and holds an honorary Doctorate of Letters from Iowa Wesleyan.


Cheryl Z. Chapman

Cheryl Chapman holds a BA degree in Chemical Engineering and has worked for International Paper for over 20 years. During her career, she has worked in several areas including marketing, brand management, product development, technical services and quality assurance both at the mills and at the business headquarters. Currently, she is the product manager for the Envelope Papers business. Her role includes assuring products are of excellent quality, leading quality improvement efforts, and providing business analysis. She is currently the director of the EMA Foundation's Institute for Postal Studies.


Thomas J. Rewolinski

Tom is Senior VP, Finance and Operations at Western States Envelope Company. He has been actively involved in the industry for many years. Since earning his accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Tom has held various financial positions in several industries. He has held his current position at Western States since 2001, and has served on the company's board of directors since 1995.




Ann Rieser

Ann is Director of Product Management Converting and Publications at Domtar and Chairman of the EMA Foundation Institute of Environmental Studies.




Gilles Cyr

 Gilles is President & CEO of Supremex, Inc. in Quebec, Canada. Mr. Cyr has held various positions with Supremex for 14 years, first as Chief Financial Officer, later as Vice-President and General Manager of Supremex’s Eastern Region, up to January 2006. Prior to joining Supremex, Mr. Cyr was a partner at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he worked for ten years. Mr. Cyr holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières and is also a Chartered Accountant.




James E. (Pat) Patterson

James E. (Pat) Patterson is President & CEO of Colortree Group, Inc. in Richmond, Virginia. Almost all of Pat’s nearly thirty years of work experience has been in one form or another in the Graphics or Printing Industry. Pat joined Colortree Group,Inc. (formerly ColorTree, Inc. of Virginia) in 2001 as chief operating officer with full responsibility for operations, including strategic planning and implementation. A 1975 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Industrial Management, he has attended the MBA program at Georgia State University and the Executive Program at the University of North Carolina.




Susan LaChance

Susan was vice president of Consumer and Industry Affairs at the United States Postal Service (USPS). She was responsibility for all United States Postal Service customer interaction and support, from small businesses or individual consumers to large corporations and commercial mailers; including overseeing the office of the Consumer Advocate as a vital part of customer service. Susan was awarded the Postal Service prestigious Postmaster General Award, as well as with numerous other postal and industry awards. She earned an undergraduate degree from Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.




Robert Tees

Bob is the Vice President and General Manager of Mac Paper Envelope Converters in Jacksonville, FL. He has been a previous board member of EMA, headed the Technical Committee and now heads the Innovation Process and Trends Committee for EMA. Bob received a B.A. degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1976.




Michael E. Love

Mike is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Love Envelopes, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 




James G. Beard

James G. (Jim) Beard is Chairman of the EMA Board of Directors and serves in an ex-officio capacity on the Foundation board.
